About us

TheSSML Gregorio VII a legally recognized University for interpreters and translators organizes Italian language courses for foreigners and research studies in the linguistic and communications fields with the collaboration of A.S.T.R.Ambiente a non-profit scientific association for the protection of environmental resources recognized by law by the Italian Ministry of the Environment, the academy of fine arts of Viterbo and the Institute of art restauration of Rome. Our aim is to spread Italian culture in order to intensify social, scholastic, artistic, trade and friendly relations between the countries of the world and Italy through the knowledge and study of art, history, literature, music, environment, business, gastronomic traditions and Italy’s haute couture and fashion designers. The courses  include activities, guided tours, and participation in special Roman events; the cultural activities aim at the discovery of the complete Italian cultural heritage. Exchanges with cultural institutes such as local schools, universities, libraries, and study centers are foreseen. The SSML Gregorio VII is located in the heart of Rome near St. Peter’s Basilica. {
