This course is particularly suited for those who have to deal with a lot of Italian correspondence. Our course helps to improve the knowledge in business correspondence, teaches how to handle reports and documents and gives information about the Italian trade and business practices. The course is designed for students who are interested in business with Italy for professional reasons. The program focuses on the Italian language of business, aiming at providing students with the basic vocabulary and professional expressions that are most often used. Retail and wholesale companies, sales networks; 10. Business regulations: Italian and European laws; 11. The organization of commerce, auxiliary roles and organizations, mediators, agents, sales representatives, couriers and shippers, chambers of commerce, commodity exchange, commercial associations; 12. In particular, if a student needs to increase his expertise in a specific area for professional reasons, we recommend that he inform us before arriving in order to give the instructor sufficient time to prepare a specific program with selected texts. For example, if a student works in an office of import-export, special attention will be given to international correspondence, banking documents relative to business transactions, Italian law on import-export and the organization of and participation in Italian trade fairs. Relations with external agents: agencies, tour operators, public bodies and companies; 6. Secretariat: reservation planner and registration of arrivals and departures, filing and correspondence; 7. The program focuses on the language of these two important sectors of the Italian economy, aiming at providing students with the basic vocabulary and technical expressions that are most often used. The course analyzes the main recipes of nationwide and regional Italian cooking, describes the typical products and most often used preparations, reviews the most important old and modern cookbooks, such as that of Artusi and "Il talismano della felicità", and provides a short history of Italian cuisine. In the area of wine, a region-by-region review is given of the most important wines with a focus on different technologies. After identifying the basic technical vocabulary and expressions, the student is helped to assimilate them through targeted exercises and discussions. On the request of the student, guided visits can be arranged to markets, inns, restaurants and food producers. The course can be combined with practical courses of cooking and wine tasting that are organized by the school. As in all thematic courses, this one aims not only at providing knowledge of food and wine, but also at improving the student’s general knowledge of the Italian language on the basis of the didactic principle that the things that interest us are much more easily assimilated. Languages are a valuable asset for flight attendants: many airlines pay extra for language skills or require knowledge of a foreign language for promotion. After completing this course you will be able to deal with your airline's language tests and feel secure about speaking Italian in everyday situations with your passengers on board. Topics that will typically be discussed during the course: 1. Reading and improvising announcements (bring your own or rely on our experience with airliners); 2. Aviation related vocabulary; 3.
